Weight Management : Participants will learn the causes of weight gain, portion control, role of physical exercise, methodology for healthier living ,importance of using a diary or journal to monitor behavior, tips on what to do when eating out, having a support person or support group, the truth about popular foods, how being overweight can contribute to chronic illness. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to implement better eating habits which will help them achieve their weight loss.

Components of Wellness : This workshop identifies stress, its causes, health related concerns, managing stress through relaxation therapy, clearing toxic overload through detoxification, the channels of elimination and the mind-body-spirit connection. At the end of the workshop participants will be better able to handle stress by applying principles of wellness.

Reflexology : Participants will learn the origin and history of reflexology. The benefits derived by applying the techniques used to bring about healing, determine the location of reflexes in the foot. Learn about the ancient healing art which, without drugs, naturally stimulates every muscle, organ, and gland of the body. By applying pressure to the reflexes in the feet tension is relieved, harmony is restored and toxins are released. It is based on the premise that the body is divided into 10 zones. Learn how reflexes in the feet are connected to other parts of the body and how when one part of the body is massaged it affects another. By the end of the talk attendees will have a better understanding of foot reflexology and how they can benefit.

Nutrition In A Nutshell : Learn basic nutrition, including micro and macro nutrients, role of enzymes, importance of water intake, sleep, rest, role of essential fatty acids, phytonutrients, healthy oils, the glycemic index, labeling, After attending this workshop participants will be able to make healthier choices, and know the difference between micro and macro nutrients.

Holistic Approach to Digestion : This workshop will introduce participants to the digestive process,including the various stages and types of digestion,basic understanding of the breakdown of nutrients, causes of indigestion and an overview of digestive disorders. By the end of the course participants will have a better knowledge of how these principles can be applied to their daily lives.

Food, Exercise, and Stress : Focuses on the hidden dangers of popular foods, how exercise and nutrition can help to create a balanced life and highlight simple foods that can be used to help manage stress. The goal of the workshop is to educate consumers about ingredients used to prepare food items and explain how exercise can combat stress.
